An E-bike battery can hold a lot of power and energy, so they deserve to be looked after. Keeping the battery charged between 60-80% when you store it will help keep the lithium ion cells from deteriorating. Allowing for a short cool down time after a ride will also prevent the battery from deterioration. And it is very important to remember to immediately take the battery to a distributor or a bike shop if you suspect it to be damaged, so that they can carry out a full inspection.
