E-bikes are almost entirely waterproof, so don’t get put off riding in the rain and wet conditions. Muddy MTB trails are a lot of fun, and with the right preparation, skills and bike setup you can get the most out of the quieter mountain bike loops and never waste an opportunity to ride again. Subscribe: Our shop: Switch out those tyres for a different compound and grip, or run a slightly lower pressure than normal depending on whether the trails are muddy or super washed out. Don’t forget to lube your chain, protect your battery from the cold and take an extra layer out with you. Prepare yourself for different trail conditions to normal, and embrace the mud!
