Published on September 23rd 2018

The all new 2019 Specialized Turbo Levo is one of the lightest electric mountain bikes ever produced, but thats not where the story ends. The new Levo is the product of nearly a decades worth of research, development and testing by Specialized with a heritage born from the very first Stumpjumper in the 80's. We were lucky enough to be invited out to Switzerland to take an exclusive look at the full development story ⚡️ Subscribe: Our shop: E-Bikes are an incredibly complex piece of engineering, both to design and manufacture. Specialized talked Steve through how they designed the new Turbo Levo, and the reasons why they made the bike originally, as well as how they've changed aspects of the Levo throughout it's history. Foremost of all it was built to handle like a normal mountain bike, ridden and tested by the men who designed it, who agonised over each detail. The Turbo Levo has one of the richest histories of any e-bike. What do you think? Would you like to see more content like this?
